White-winged Crossbill (Loxia leucoptera ) feeding alongside Common Crossbills ( Loxia pytyopsittacus) in the top of a spruce at Tinkerup, Gilleleje, North Sealand on a cold Tuesday morning the 28th of January 2003. A day with heavy winds and rain and too little light. White-winged Crossbills in Denmark, are rarely seen winter guests from Fennoscandinavia found along the coastline every year usually and in smaller numbers.
