Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus)  Denmarks largest warbler singing in the early morning rain one monday in may 2000 by the lake of Bagsvaerd close to Copenhagen.
Estimated 10 to 20 breeding couples, wintering in Africa,  are whats left in Denmark, according to the last counts, and a singing male like this one is a hit amoung the birders, but he is young and a merry fellow too and probably not going for the breeding anyway.
